Meet Meadowsweet Midwifery

Melissa has always been drawn to the midwifery model of care because of how much it enables her to empower other women. It's a model where women are truly heard, honored, and cared for as whole beings, not just bodies. She is grateful for the opportunity to form trusting and nurturing relationships with her clients while at the same time providing a high level of experienced medical care.

Samantha has loved birth and babies for as long as she remembers. She has a passion to provide truly informed, client focused, empowering and well educated care.

Melissa and Samantha have worked together since 2018 when Melissa accepted Samantha as a student. The continue to work together providing a midwifery dream team to our incredible community.

Meadowsweet Midwifery provides comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for healthy pregnant women who choose to give birth in their own home setting. A collaborative care plan physician is available for a consult when indicated.

Our Precautions During Covid19

We’re taking the following precautions to keep you and our families safe:

If you have a fever or cough or suspect you have been exposed please contact us to reschedule your appointment.
We ask that clients wait in their vehicles or outside the building to allow us time to clean between every client.
Clients should wash their hands prior to entering the office.
Melissa and Samantha will wear masks and gloves as needed with each client and during your birth.

Covid19 and antibody testing will be available to our clients effective June 15th with extra precautions and by appointment only.
